While crime on average is declining across Victoria, it still happens. Almost one-third of home burglaries occur without force because doors, windows or fences are not secure.

Thefts from farms have enormous impacts, too. It can be costly, disruptive and mentally straining.

While some crimes are unavoidable, there are steps you can take to stay safe.

The How Safe Is My Place program was created by Neighbourhood Watch Victoria to help you learn where your home or farm might be vulnerable to crime and identify some simple, actionable steps you can take to feel safer.

The free quiz takes just 5 minutes and provides a full report on security tailored to your place. The quiz is also available in Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Vietnamese, Arabic and Punjab.
